We start at the sales point of the WG Mayschoss-Altenahr, with refreshing Ahr-Winzersekt, Brut. The professionally guided Premium Wine Walk leads through the oldest wine terraces of the Ahr, up to the Flutkapelle (flood chapel) and further up to the Bunte Kuh (colourful cow). Today’s tour crosses Walporzheim’s top vineyards Alte Lay, Gärkammer, Kräuterberg and Pfaffenberg and leads through Marienthaler Rosenberg and Jesuitengarten. In between, in the vineyards, we taste 7 spring wines and enjoy a pretzel snack.

The price of €95.00 per person includes:

  • Ahr sparkling wine
  • 7 Spring wines*
  • 1 mineral water in 0.5 litre bottles; either still or medium
  • Pretzels

* (All wines are wine samples, all sparkling wines except the welcome sparkling wine are sparkling wine samples, in corresponding quantities)

The route is easy to walk, even with some steep slopes, and not really long. We use the time to enjoy the wine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Closure: On my premium wine walks, it has become established that we sit together in a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere at the end. For this tour I recommend the following place for the finale (for self-payers): Vor der Manufaktur befindet sich ein Wanderparkplatz, Prümer Straße 4.
