Premium Wine Walk Nr.
with Wolfgang DieckmannGerman Wine Professional (DWI) and Sommelier Topic: A journey through the German wine-growing regions
In dialogue with German wines,
today: The Ahr and German wines
Date: Thursday, 3. October 2024, at 10:00 o'clock

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, 11 German wine-growing regions became 13. Today, on the Day of Unity, we are tasting a total of 8 German wines from 8 different growing regions and 8 typical grape varieties.
We hike up to Are Castle, through the Altenahr and Laach vineyards to Mayschoss. Here, too, we cross the vineyards. On the way, you will learn a lot about German wine and maybe even get to watch the winegrowers at harvest time.

The price of €129.00 per person includes:

  • Begrüßungssekt, Winzersekt von der Ahr, Brut
  • 8 wines from German wine-growing regions*
  • 1 mineral water in 0.5 litre bottles; either still or medium
  • Snack-Imbiss in den Weinbergen mit Laugengebäck, o. ä.

* (All wines are wine samples, all sparkling wines except the welcome sparkling wine are sparkling wine samples, in corresponding quantities)
