April weather – rain and sunshine, both together.

When the cool to wet and cold weather finally gives way to spring, the outdoor season starts again here in the Ahr.

Classically, on the last weekend in April with the 13th Dernau Wine Spring. In the meantime, you can enjoy the excellent Ahr wines in the unspoiled nature of the vineyards at numerous stands along the Red Wine Trail, from Marienthal to Altenahr. Every weekend and all holidays from April 29 to Whit Monday, May 29, 2023, the stands are open.

From Ascension Day, May 18 to Sunday, May 21, the winemakers around Ahrweiler and Walporzheim also invite you to enjoy the vineyards at the AhrWeinWalk.

Now it is especially fun to enjoy our outstanding Ahr wines in nature. On my website you will learn more about my current offers and will be informed about the contents and prices openly and transparently. I am burning for the Ahr Valley with its wonderful nature, the open, warm-hearted, combative inhabitants, our vintners with their excellent wines, the changeful, partly exciting history and would like to inspire you, too, among other things by means of my premium wine hikes, yes, to draw you into the spell of the Ahr Valley. This is especially important because although we are back, it will take a long time to build up the infrastructure and many houses. Do not be afraid and visit us.

Now six weeks has already passed since the flood disaster and before I report on my current situation, I would first like to express my sincere gratitude.
