Through the oldest wine terraces of the Ahr Valley and their great sites, past the Government Bunker documentation site and around the Ahrweiler Silberberg.

Today, a total of 8 wines from Germany’s leading female winemakers are in the spotlight. The tasting will include wines from Dörte and Meike Näkel, VDP winery Meyer-Näkel; Theresa Breuer, Winery Breuer, Rheingau and from Caroline Diel, VDP winery Schlossgut Diel, Nahe.

Theresa Breuer is now considered one of the best Riesling winemakers in the world. The wines of the four women are joined by wines from Julia Baltes (Bertram), Ahr.

The route is easy to walk, even with some steep slopes, and not really long. We use the time to enjoy the wine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Duration: approx. ca. 3,5 bis 4 hours
Time of arrival: At approx. 15:00 at the destination: Bahnhof Ahrweiler Markt
Closure: On my premium wine walks, it has become established that we sit together in a relaxed, cheerful atmosphere at the end. For this tour I recommend the following place for the finale (for self-payers): Einkehren bei Ute und Christof Körtgen.
